A bit about me

Hi, I'm Sarah,  wife to a photographer and Mum to 3 young girls, we recently moved from South Wales to Vienne In November and I'm finally ready to continue my holistics practice here in France!

I first became interested in complementary therapies whilst working in my first job after graduating from University. I worked for an organisation supporting people with learning disabilities which used complementary therapies; after witnessing the benefits experienced by the service users I decided to do my own research into this area of work and was particularly drawn to Reflexology. I found the principles and benefits of this therapy fascinating and even after 20 years experience I still do! I undertook my Diploma in Reflexology and Anatomy and Physiology at Bristol School of Holistic Therapies in 2001. This course provided me with an excellent standard of training. I've since qualified in Advanced Reflexology for Conception; assisting couples on their fertility journey.

Throughout the last 20 years I have provided treatments for clients with a variety of needs including acute stress disorders, anxiety attacks, depression, IBS, PMS, fertility and hormonal issues, pain conditions and terminal illness. On a personal level, I treated my own father during his final fight with cancer. It was this that cemented my passion for Reflexology as I witnessed the soothing effects which this treatment provided at the end of his life. I have also used Reflexology and massage on my own children from babies with teething and colic to toddlers with coughs and colds and now as older children they still love a treatment, whether its for calming pre exam nerves or soothing sinuses!

Since developing Serenity I expanded my skills and undertook professional training in various forms of Massage, including Aromatherapy massage, Hot Stone Massage, Indian Head Massage before going on to qualify as a Baby Massage instructor in 2012 providing classes to groups of parents locally. Massage has always felt very natural to me and I thoroughly enjoy witnessing the relief it can offer people experiencing pain and tension.

I believe in treating clients with the highest degree of professionalism, care and dignity always ensuring that each treatment is tailored to the individual needs of the person and that the environment in which it takes place promotes a strong sense of relaxation.

Please feel free to contact me to discuss your individual needs, I would be happy to answer any questions you may have, details can be found on the contacts page.

I look forward to treating you!
